We take learning beyond the classroom, combining the solid foundation of didactic instruction with a variety of immersive, hands-on experiences that empower students to apply their knowledge and develop confidence as nurses.
For more than 130 years, our legacy of excellence has lived through nurses who care for patients with compassion, skill and critical thinking—and who advance the nursing profession by innovating, leading teams, educating future nurses, conducting research and shaping health policy.
This program prepares students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) to obtain their license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Meet Our BSN Program Director
Jeanine Goodin, DNP, APRN, CNP | Director of Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
Dr. Jeanine Goodin holds more than 30 years of experience as a nurse, advanced practice provider and educator. She has practiced across diverse clinical settings, including acute care, intensive care, home health and her current role as a nurse practitioner in a Pre-Surgical Optimization clinic.
Dr. Goodin’s work is grounded in a commitment to advancing nursing education and ensuring that emerging nurses are well-prepared to meet the evolving needs of the health care system.
“Drawing from both past and current clinical practice, I firmly believe that a strong foundation in core nursing skills, along with a clear understanding of pathophysiology and pharmacology, is essential to providing safe, effective, and meaningful patient care. These fundamental underpinnings allow nurses to think critically, respond with confidence and make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of those we serve.”
