*No general education courses are indicated in the schemas. If these courses remain unfinished when you begin your BSN coursework, it could add to the time it takes to complete your degree.

*This is the typical minimum number of credit hours students must complete. The minimum number of credit hours can vary based on previously earned credits, and/or the level of placement into required coursework.

*All core BSN courses are offered every seven weeks. Any core nursing course or courses may be taken during any seven-week session, as long as program requirements are met. (The only exception is the 14-week, full semester capstone course.)

Note the following program requirements:
  • Statistics must be taken prior to NBSN 4062.
  • NBSN 4061 & NBSN 4078 must be completed by the end of the first semester.
  • In the five-semester option, students may elect to take NBSN 4082 (statistics) the first semester and NBSN 4078 the first seven weeks of the second semester.
  • NBSN 4068 Capstone is a semester-long course. Students must complete NBSN 4061, NBSN 4062, and NBSN 4078 before taking the capstone course.
  • No RN license required to apply: Students need to have a license before enrolling in Focus on Community and Capstone courses. Contact an Enrollment Advisor to learn more!
