While demand for all nurses remains strong, with projected job growth significantly above the national average for other occupations, master’s and doctorate-level nurses will become even more in-demand with anticipated physician shortages and other gaps in health care.
In addition, earning a graduate degree in nursing provides many benefits:
- Additional career opportunities and upward mobility
- More autonomy and flexibility
- Higher salary levels
- Ability to teach in the field
Whether you’re looking to become an advanced-practice nurse, nurse educator or nurse researcher, UC College of Nursing offers graduate nursing degree programs in a range of specialties, both online and on campus.
