iCoN Summer Institute

A Message from Assistant Dean of Technology Matthew Rota:

As the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing continues to respond to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 iCoN Summer Institute. At this time, we are using our technology resources fully and purposefully to support our students and instructors who must re-think their learning environments and pivot to online and simulated learning formats.

I sincerely appreciate your interest in our event, and I hope to see you at the next iCoN Summer Institute in July 2021.

Looking toward next year’s event, I hope we—as a community of health care professionals, educators and researchers—will have new learnings and innovative solutions to share as a result of today’s efforts to deal with the impact of the novel coronavirus.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to me at matthew.rota@uc.edu.

Sincerely,
Matthew Rota, PhD

About the Event

Enabling tomorrow’s health care professionals to research and practice at the peak of their abilities requires teaching and learning that move beyond entrenched curricula and pedagogical approaches to meet the needs and best develop the skills of a new generation of students.

UC College of Nursing—an Apple Distinguished School designee since 2014—brings together health care professionals, educators, researchers, industry partners and students for its annual iCoN Summer Institute. During this three-day event, attendees share, learn and explore innovations in health care education, clinical settings, classrooms, research and home health care.

Our next iCoN Summer Institute will take place in July 2021. Check back for more details.
