Schedule II Prescriptive Authority CE
Required 6 hour course for APNs with Prescriptive Authority in Ohio
Presented by University of Cincinnati College of Nursing
This 6 hour in-class course will:
- outline the Ohio Board of Nursing rules related to schedule II prescribing
- identify considerations necessary for appropriate and safe prescribing of schedule II controlled substances
- include 1 hour of “Category A” law
This course DOES meet all the Board of Nursing’s requirements for all APNs including those who are applying for a Certificate to Prescribe – Externship.
