BSN: College Close-Up

The College of Nursing hosts a College Close-Up presentation and tour for high school students every Thursday from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. Students and their families will learn all about the freshman admission process, the BSN program, and other opportunities in the College of Nursing; and they will also go on a tour around our main campus nursing facilities. High school students should schedule a visit to the University of Cincinnati and the College of Nursing here: http://admissions.uc.edu/visit/visit_daily.html

Tours of the UC East campus in Batavia, OH can be arranged on an individual basis. These can be scheduled by emailing nursing1@uc.edu.


RN to BSN Online Program Info Sessions

If you are a graduate from an associate degree or hospital-based diploma program in nursing, we invite you to pursue our RN to BSN Online program. We offer both full- and part-time programs taught completely online, with a community clinical project completed in your local community or geographic area.

Please note that as a result of state boards of nursing and the DOE Higher Education regulation changes, the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing is not currently accepting applications for our distance learning RN to BSN program from students residing in the states listed in the State Regulations section below.


Online Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education Chat Session

Interested in learning more about the Online Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education? Assistant Professor of Clinical and Coordinator Nikole Hicks, MSN, CNE, is available every Tuesday at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to answer your questions. Simply complete the form to request a chat session and receive future communications about the program. Nikole Hicks will contact you to verify your appointment.

Accelerated Info Sessions

If you are an individual that already holds a non-nursing degree and wish to pursue a master’s degree in nursing, the Accelerated Program is an ideal academic path for you.

On Campus MSN Information Session

Are you a local student interested in one of UC’s on-campus MSN programs? Join us for an information session to learn more! You’ll hear from the graduate advisor as well as the program director of your choice.

The on-campus MSN information sessions will cover the following specialties: Adult-Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gero Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner and Occupational Health Nursing.
