Interview

Applicants who are deemed acceptable potential students may be invited for an interview following review of their applications. Interviews are conducted in the department in which the major is located. If distance makes an on-site interview impractical, a telephone interview can be arranged.

The Student Affairs Council takes into consideration all of the requirements related to rendering an admission decision. Applicants who do not meet all of the requirements but whose credentials reveal potential ability for master’s study are reviewed on an individual basis. Applicants may be required to fulfill specific prerequisites or other conditions of admission prior to an admission decision or admitted on a provisional basis. Provisional admission status requires the student to meet specific requirements before full admission status is granted.

International Students

The International Student Services Office provides assistance to international graduate students and supplies additional information upon receipt of the University application. This information addresses how to obtain a visa, anticipated expenses, health and accident insurance (required), housing and general information concerning the University, as well as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). For more information, please visit the TOEFL site, www.toefl.org.
