As a public, non-profit institution, UC College of Nursing is focused on educating nurse leaders of the future. The goal of the online RN to BSN program is to increase the quality and quantity of baccalaureate-prepared RNs with advanced preparation to meet global health needs.

Here are some of the benefits of attending UC College of Nursing for your BSN:

  • Accreditation. Our baccalaureate program is accredited by CCNE.
  • Affordability. Our tuition rates are competitive and student financial aid and scholarships are available.
  • Experienced Faculty. Our instructors are award-winning and have specific knowledge and experience related to the curriculum.
  • Accessible Resources. Students can access the university-based library and technology support services.
  • Distinguished Alumni. Our 40-plus-year-old program has amassed a broad network of successful nurse leaders.

Career Opportunities

A BSN offers RNs the opportunity to work in a wider variety of positions and care settings. Many employers encourage or require a baccalaureate degree.

In addition, a BSN from an accredited institution, such as UC College of Nursing, is a necessary foundation for admission to master’s or doctoral programs that allow nurses to become clinical instructors, nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists or full-time researchers.

We offer full- and part-time programs. The upper-division coursework can be completed in one academic year, full-time. The part-time options take 12 to 18 months, depending on the option selected.
