Post-Master's Certificate

Our Post-Master’s Certificates offer the opportunity to augment your master’s degree with an additional nursing specialty area. The coursework for these certificates is dependent on the coursework that was completed in your previous master’s degree.

The curriculum of your previous Master’s degree in Nursing will determine the curriculum of your Post-Master’s certificate curriculum. Essentially, you will be required to take only the courses not completed by your previous Master’s degree in another area to earn the Post-Master’s certificate in the specialty area you choose. Because students in the Post-Master’s Certificate programs come to us from a variety of institutions with a variety of academic experiences, the curriculum is very much individualized to each learner.

Please note that certificate programs are not eligible for federal financial aid; consequently, you will not be able to fill out a FAFSA to seek financial aid for these programs. Students most commonly pay for courses independently, use employer tuition-assistance programs, or seek external scholarships for funding support.
