Obesity Paradox in Heart Failure: Challenging the Dominant Paradigm
Terry Lennie RN, PhD

Terry Lennie holds a joint PhD in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neurobehavior at the University of Michigan. He came to UK in 2003 from The Ohio State University, where he was an associate professor of nursing. He currently serves as co-director of the RICH Heart Program and director of the PhD program at the College of Nursing.

Dr. Lennie presented on April 2 from 1:30-2:45 pm and on April 3 from 2:00-3:15 pm.

Barbara Resnick, PhD, CRNP, FAAN, FAANP

Barbara Resnick, PhD, CRNP currently is a Professor in the Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, holds the Sonya Ziporkin Gershowitz Chair in Gerontology at the School of Nursing, and maintains a clinical/faculty position with clinical work at Roland Park Place, a Lifecare community. Dr. Resnick holds a B.S.N. from the University of Connecticut, an M.S.N. from the University of Pennsylvania Gerontological Nurse Clinician/Nurse Practitioner program, and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Maryland.

Dr. Resnick presented on April 23 from 1:30-2:45 pm and on April 24 from 2:00-3:15 pm.
