Showcase UC 2006 On March 6 - 7, 2008, the University of Cincinnati hosted Showcase 2008. This signature event offered a glimpse into the future of cutting-edge applied research and technology. Showcase 2008 introduced the scope of UC’s research and creative activity - a sampling of projects with proven commercialization success or great partnership potential. Showcase was provided as a service to the region’s business community. Over 100 exhibits and demonstrations of emerging technologies and research were on hand - along with the researchers behind these cutting-edge efforts. Through a wide range of posters and demonstrations, the College of Nursing focused on its capabilities, expertise and the impact nursing has on our region and the world. Our displays showed the breadth and depth of the scholarly inquiry, research excellence and creative outputs of the College. Attendees had opportunities to discuss the College's research, educational opportunities and community service activities with faculty, staff and student volunteers.
