Mary Kappesser TriHealth Inc. As a parish nurse in the Winton Hills neighborhood since 1998 and a person of great faith, Mary Kappesser is concerned with both body and spirit. Sometimes, that can mean arranging for a visit from a priest to someone feeling distanced from his church. Or it can simply mean taking the time to listen to a patient and perceive that there’s more to a case than meets the eye. For seven years, Mary also advocated for the development of a community health worker program in Winton Hills. As a result of her tireless efforts, the TriHealth Winton Hills Community Health Worker Program is now a reality.
