Meet our UnderGraduate Students
Sade Scott,
ENSTEPS
I serve as president of the ENSTEPS organization (Ethnic Nursing Students Together Targeting Excellence, Professionalism and Success). This is the first year for our organization and my classmates and I are ready to see the seed we planted flourish. ENSTEPS will provide minority nursing students with the peer support, guidance and networking skills they need to succeed on both the college and the professional level. We plan to host programs that include minority nurses from various healthcare settings and encourage community involvement by volunteering. In the years to come, ENSTEPS plans to live up to its motto, "Striving for unity in the minority nursing community".
