Clinical Experience
Clinicals are a place I can take the skills I have been reading and learning about in a classroom and apply them to real patients and situations. Through my clinical experiences I quickly realized that not every patient is the same. I learned how to be flexible in the real world, tailor my care to each individual patient, prioritize my tasks through the day, continually reassess the needs of my patients and adjust accordingly-all skills essential in the field of nursing. It is through all of my experiences in the numerous clinical settings that UC offers its students that I have become confident in my skills and know that I will be a valuable asset to any healthcare team upon graduation.
