Meet our
Graduate Students
Nick & Karin Detchon
We came from diverse backgrounds with different goals, but both chose the UC College of Nursing BSN program to fulfill those goals. Strong baccalaureate history, small-college feel in a large university setting, the ability to become well acquainted with the faculty and the advantage and privilege of learning in nationally ranked medical facilities are reasons we both chose UC. We feel the traditional BSN program offered us an outstanding nursing education, while providing exceptional preparation for the nursing licensure exam and the nursing workforce. Karin will graduate from the family nurse practitioner program this spring, and Nick will begin his graduate program in nurse anesthesia this fall.
