Lisa Craig, RN, MSN
Community Health Nursing
I graduated with a BSN degree from UC in 2002. The deciding factor for continuing my graduate education at UC College of Nursing was the continued support I have received from the faculty and administration. For months I researched advanced nursing degree programs from around the country. The final decision to choose UC College of Nursing was made after meeting the Program Director of the Community Health Nursing program. She was so energetic about her role as a nurse; she helped me to see the joy there is in nursing. On the day of our initial interview, she extended herself to me as a mentor and devoted herself to helping me achieve a master’s degree in Community Health Nursing. I am currently an advanced practice RN, working in disease outbreak management.
