Laura E. Rosnagle Academic Merit Scholarship Description

Background
Miss Laura E. Rosnagle, Class of 1926, was Dean of the College of Nursing and Health from 1945 to 1967. During her many years of competent service, Dean Rosnagle contributed significantly to the advancement of nursing education. The major project for the 1994 Centennial celebration of the Alumni Association was the establishment of an endowed scholarship in memory of Miss Rosnagle.

Description
The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize a full-time undergraduate student of the College of Nursing who has demonstrated excellent academic achievement, outstanding leadership, and significant service to the campus and/or community. The dollar amount of the award is determined by the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association. Students apply during the winter quarter of the junior year. Scholarship monies are applied to — senior year tuition and fees and are sent directly to the University for benefit of the recipient.
