Nursing Reunion 2008 - May 16 and 17!  

We're planning a special weekend of activities for the Alumni during the University Reunion Weekend May 16-18, 2008. Classes ending in a "3" or "8" will join together to commemorate their five-year reunions. The class of 1958 will celebrate its Golden Anniversary while members of the class of 1983 will gather in honor of their Silver Anniversary. And the Class of 1948 will be celebrating their sixtieth year!

Schedule of Events

The festivities will kick off on Thursday, May 15 with an all-university celebration for guests arriving at the Kingsgate Marriott at 6 pm. This event is open to all alumni and their spouses/guests.

Friday, May 16, the College of Nursing Reunion will begin with a Welcome Reception at the Kingsgate Marriott at 6:00 p.m. Bring your spouses/guests for an evening of wine, cheese and memories. Did you know that students of the College of Nursing during the early years were required to live on campus? Spend the morning on Saturday, May 17, reminiscing or plan to see where the nurses lived in the former student residence hall on the Logan Hall Tour. (Transportation provided from Procter Hall). There's always something new and exciting at Procter Hall. Join us for a tour of the William Cooper Procter Hall College of Nursing at your own pace. Highlights include Clinical Labs and the Ed and Jean Wedbush Nursing Legacy Centre. Join us for a delectable lunch at Procter Hall as we recognize the 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award, Rosnagle Service Award honorees and more. The Alumni Association will be hosting a variety of activities throughout the weekend including their annual Golden Bearcat Brunch recognizing the Class of 1958.

Transportation will be provided to and from the Kingsgate Marriott during the weekend. We will also take class group photos that you will be able to take home on Saturday afternoon! Be sure to watch your mail and check the website for updated information!
