Alumni Association of the College of Nursing

The goals of the Alumni Association of the College of Nursing are to encourage communication among alumni and to promote the interests of the college and the advancement of the profession. Alumni activities include social, educational and traditional events. The organization sponsors a graduate recognition luncheon each spring and also funds commencement awards in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Reunion Weekend is sponsored each May in cooperation with the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. At this event celebrating classes are honored and two alumni awards are presented, one for significant professional contributions and the other for outstanding alumni service.

Membership in the Alumni Association of the college is open to all graduates and active involvement is encouraged. The Alumni Association needs a strong corps of volunteers for its committee and leadership activities.
