Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

The Women's Health Nursing major is an exciting and innovative graduate program offered through the Parent Child Health Nursing Department. Specialization in the major prepares the graduate for advanced nursing practice with an emphasis on reproductive and gynecologic health. Graduates provide the full scope of women's health care across the lifespan. Emphasis is on the delivery of primary health care to women. Students are precepted by Women's Health Nurse Practitioners in numerous private practices and health care clinics. Women's Health Practitioner students are eligible to sit for national certification.
